Getting Involved

At McAlpine, volunteers are a critical part of our success, and we pride ourselves on our strong family environment and sense of community! Volunteers help build our McAlpine community and keep our staff and families connected through outreach and enrichment initiatives in our neighborhoods.

We have a busy year planned with activities like book fairs, family festivals, school dances, student art nights, and staff appreciation celebrations! We need you to make it all happen!

Volunteer Registration

CMS and McAlpine Elementary School require all parents, guests, and visitors to register as CMS volunteers. If you would like to volunteer at McAlpine or simply come for lunch with your child, you need to be a Registered CMS Volunteer.

If you’ve already registered in a previous year, simply log in to the CMS Volunteer site and confirm your information to continue.

In-person

For school events, approved CMS Volunteers will meet in the school's Front Office, and sign in on paper or iPads, instead of using the Lobby Guard system. This will help the process go more smoothly and allow you to enter the event in a timely fashion.
